we have yet to buy our very own landed property (very expensive landed properties nowadays!!!).... so right now, we are still stuck living in an apartment. despite the location being somewhere quite hip (i don't quite see it that way actually but the location is kind of convenient come to think of it), i still think that there's something that we could do about this current place of ours.
*mode berangan on*...
you know how you sometimes starts flipping through pages of those ID magazines. like woweee!!!!! best giler okay. i do not want a huge house to begin with. (cause i don't think i'd be able to keep up with the maintenance costs), but i do want a house with a small yard at least. even a patch of green would suffice. (not so small lah okay)... something reasonable. it's more for our son's sake. at least he could kick ball or something outside... my ideal home? a single story semi-detached house. why single story? cause i always like the feel of it. it's like living in a slightly bigger apartment, but with land... if you are familiar with subang jaya, you'd probably know the area SS 17 where they have two-three rows of single storey semi-d's... there was one up for sale not too long ago. i did call the agent and ended lauging hysterically (or perhaps i was sobbing, can't remember) while putting down the phone when i heard that it was selling for rm1.7 million. hahahahahahahahahaha... (madness i know)... i don't have that much money to begin with. i don't even know why i even bothered asking about the house in the first place. ahahahahahahahaha! :p
anyways, we're thinking of doing up the apartment for now, and if ada rezeki... of course i've got to get a really good contractor who won't charge me exorbitant prices to begin with. and a good ID person who would also understand that there's a limit to our budget. that aside, i've started googling images of practically every nook and cranny of our unit. do note that i'm just going through a fantasy phase here. and the renovation might not even happen. but a girl gotta dream sometimes yes? But i swear to god that I will cease my travels and bag shopping if I do get to renovate the apartment or if we actually do buy a house soon because it would be an absolutely exciting project to work on. and yes, if i'm willing to sacrifice those two most crucial items off my list, i must be dead serious... oh, and just to make it clear... ALL PICS WERE GOOGLED...

2) Dining area
