in need of good sun, seas and sand...

prior to the new year, hubby and I decided that instead of doing the routined trip to singapore. we should instead opt for a good holiday by the beach. it's a much needed holiday and we feel that doses of sunshine (please do remember to put on your sunblock or wear the largest hat you could find) would get us well rested. and we decided to do pangkor. i don't know why but the very thought of stopping by lumut and go fish satay and cuttlefish shopping just seems so appealing.

the plan didn't come true. well, what do you expect when it was a school holiday after all!!! *pulls hair, eh pulls hijab* it was either the hotels we wanted were all fully booked, or the rates were just too expensive.

but madam here isn't one to give up. not when she has her heart and mind set on them sotong bakar!!! and knowing that the cny break is coming soon, she decided to make another round of hotel booking, just in case. yet she fails again...

Oh!!!! but we malaysians are blessed with public holidays. so i decided to try booking for the thaipusam week and hooray!! there's actually availability for the dates we are looking at. yippidieyayea!!!

it's not too long now, ample time to start looking and getting myself a scuba-like swimming suit. (i now don the hijab remember... nak mampus jalan2 in two piece) not that i would be able to carry off the look to begin with *shudders* :p
