But that's just about it. And believe me, that is not something easy for me to achieve either.

well hello there!!

I've been on silent mode... and for a very long time!

Well, not really... I've been around. Busy with loads and was away on a fantastico holiday. :D

How are you peeps? Doing good I hope. I know I am. well, maybe not all the time but  yes, Alhamdulillah... pretty good. life's been good. Syukur!

Thought I ought to share some pics of my recent hols with you readers. We were in Paris last month. A trip planned so many months in advance. And you know what, I think I did not go on hols enough. I love Paris! (like big time!). I thought I would love the UK more but no, I just love Paris!!! I love the people, I love the language (I actually put what I learnt in uni to good use), I love the weather (okay, UK has the same weather too so 'touche') but what I love most about Paris are the buildings! The scenery is breathtaking in a very romantic way. Sigh... The guys are yes, very good looking. Even the guy manning the elevator up the Eiffel. But you cannot deny that the French are damn stylos without having to break their necks doing so! (A method I need to learn, and fast!).

my latest addiction...

had my first taste of the m&m's almond when i went to guardian pharmacy some months back. delicious!! even hubby was hooked. unfortunately, the next time we went around looking it was already sold out everywhere!

searched high and low for this. in the end, mama found it at one of those choc shops in langkawi. i am a happy clam now :D

Superstar Ian

So Ian had his school concert held last saturday at the summit auditorium. 

Having had the sniffles and a bit of cough that day, i was pretty worried that he wouldn't be able to deliver his lines correctly. (yes, he had a solo act that day). :D

But Alhamdulillah, everything went well and I was really glad that i did not succumbed to tears that night. (yes, my emotions can be quite mental at times that it could be pretty embarrassing).

It did make my heart swell/burst with pride seeing my son on stage being all excited and confident. And I'm sure he had a good time judging from his expression on stage. :)

Glad that the concert went well!

Sunday morning

Been away for so long!!!!

Loads to write about but not too sure where to start. Ho was your raya by the way? Mine has been a pretty quiet one this time around. Like really, ive been to only 3 open houses so far. Hee hee....

We finally got ian his ipad (and im using it right now whilst he is still asleep). He's hooked on temple run.  His best score so far is 684k whereas i couldnt even make it pass 80k yet. Pretty good for a newbie actually (ian, not me) :)

He still has a long way to go though. We just found out yesterday that his 9 years old cousin has a score of 17mill for temple run. Hardcore indeed!

i never knew that renovation can be so difficult! and i just realised that despite both hubby and i have a mutual understanding when it comes to ID and reno works, we are not the easiest pair of clients to deal with!

we have not even passed the ID concept stage when the contractor cum ID company admitted defeat stating the mere obvious, "we cannot do like what you want".

which means we'd have to go through this whole process all over again *cries*

to be frank, i hate having to keep explaining the design and concept that we want to each and every contractors. okay, to be fair, we have just met up with one and he has submitted to us layout design and ID concepts. but it wasn't to our expectations nor liking at all. i even went to the extend of sending him images (if that would at least help!).

yes, i am frustrated. I do not want the apartment to look modern in a showroom way. the house has got to have character. and it has to look cosy for us.

yes, our expectations are deemed as being deadly high now.

like seriously, if you need to get yourself a bag, do get one that would last you a few seasons at least, if not forever.

there are just so many hand held bags from various other brands out there. surely you are not going to spend 200 euros (or more) just for the sake of getting your hands on some colourful rubbery looking bag when you can spend just a little bit more to get yourself a lovely leather or coated canvas material?
